Social Media Coordinator

Mamas & Co. is a global online community for mama entrepreneurs based in Toronto, Canada. This is the perfect role for a highly-creative, fun and passionate person who loves to create content and engage with key audiences online. This is a fantastic environment to hone your social media skills and be mentored by some seasoned entrepreneurs, with lots of room to advance!

Key Roles:
1. Creating social media graphics and videos using our existing content
2. Managing our social media calendar, keeping in mind our business goals, values etc. with guidance from our team
3. Limited copywriting/ editing, so strong written communication is a must
Communicating and engaging with our social media audience via DMs

Skills Required:
1. Canva (graphic design)
2. Instagram
3. Later (scheduling tool)
4. Video creation/ editing
5. Strong written communication skills

You will be provided with:
1. Hands-on training and support to help you nail our brand and messaging
2. Weekly podcast and show notes that you will be required to create visual content for
3. Our Brand Guide (our logo, colours etc.)
4. Lots of stunning brand photography to work with
5. Video content from key members of the team/ community that you will be required to turn into Instagram Reels
6. Lots of training and support along the way

This role is perfect for someone who...
1. Lives in or near Toronto, Canada
2. Has a strong visual sense and can make things look beautiful and on-brand
3. Loves video content and gets excited by the latest social media trends
4. Understands the needs and problems of mama entrepreneurs (and is perhaps a mama herself)
5. Can work in person approx. once a month (for live events and in-person meetings) and has access to a vehicle/ transportation
6. Can put in some limited evenings/ weekends during key events/ launches (approx. 5-6 times per year)
7. Is excited by the idea of learning and idea-sharing with a group of intelligent, fun, dynamic female entrepreneurs
8. Has their own laptop and smartphone (ideally iPhone 10 or newer)
